Dell Invents a Dual Display Pro Tablet Aimed at Students & Pros
The rumor of an iPad Pro began two years ago this month. The rumor began covering a future iPad with a 12.9 inch display for the education market. Since that time there have been dozens of reports on this mysterious iPad edition including one claiming that Apple would introduce the new Pro tablet with an advanced stylus or iPen. Most recently the rumors have extended to the iPad introducing displays using nano silver sire materials to heighten touch sensitivities, likely for use with a digital pen. As Apple extends the release date out to 2016 for the iPad Pro, a new patent from Dell illustrates that they're gunning for the University and Professional market with an advanced dual-display tablet to accommodate electronic books for school and for professionals that work with spreadsheets, presentations and Microsoft Office. At the moment Microsoft's Surface Pro 3 stands alone in this category. Will Dell or Apple be next? Only time will tell. For now you could check out what Dell has invented by reading our full Patently Mobile report here.
