On April 9, 2015, the European Patent & Trademark Office published Apple's latest trademark filing for "MagSafe" under number 013918834 which was officially filed for yesterday. This particular MagSafe Trademark application relates to the Apple Watch charger application where MagSafe takes on a different design and form factor as noted in our cover graphic.

According to the European Patent Office's documentation, the trademark was officially filed under International Classes 14 and 28 as noted in detail below.

New Form Factors for MagSafe

Last week we posted a patent application report titled "Apple Reveals Inventive Next-Gen Stackable MagSafe Connectors." In that patent we illustrated new form factors for MagSafe including a round connector design like the one for the Apple Watch except the design supported a stackable dimension.
