Apple's hot iPhone 6 Sends Hon Hai's Profits Soaring for October

Hon Hai Reports Record Sales due to the iPhone 6:
According to Taiwan media reports, Hon Hai's October revenues hit a new record monthly high as revealed in their financial call yesterday. The increase is due to Apple's hot selling iPhone 6. The financing results showed that the company earned about NT$468.999 billion (approximately US$15.33 Billion) in October, with an increase of 22.58% Year-over-Year beating the market expectations.

The industry experts in the report believe that Hon Hai now is entering the "harvest period of Apple orders" and the company is very optimistic about the sales in China's Singles' Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day in Europe and the U.S. as well as China's Lunar New Year. The increase of Apple shipments will absolutely drive Hon Hai revenues for November and December and into 2015.

The report further noted that "The excellent performance in October is mainly due to the big success of Apple's new products iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, according to the industry sources. In order to meet the market demand, Hon Hai's subsidiary Foxconn is still busy manufacturing Apple products in both Zhengzhou and Shenzhen factories.
