One Third of Korean iPhone users Plan to Switch to Samsung

PA - Title Bar - News Shot
Korea's Yonhap News Agency is reporting today that a new survey has shown that more than a third of current iPhone users in Korea won't be buying another iPhone.

The survey conducted by DigiEco, a research unit of KT Corp who was the first introduced Koreans to the iPhone, found that 34.6 percent of iPhone users won't be buying another one.

Another Korean report out this morning states that one of three Samsung CEO's Shin Jong-kyun, decided to let it be known prior to the company officially announcing its earnings guidelines for the second quarter this Saturday that the firm has sold 20 million Galaxy S4 smartphones globally since its launch in May. A sell-off of Samsung's stock occurred earlier in the month when JP Morgan expressed concern over the company's smartphone sales.

Samsung is in the process of diversifying the GS4 models to cover the upcoming LTE-Advanced telecommunications technology standard around the world for the second half of the year. The iPhone is also expected to adopt the new standard later this year.

Can we get data from telecom companies?

Sounds like a gimmick, just like Samsung's products, software, morals and values.

Galaxy S4, S4 mini, S4 Zoom, S4 Active, S4 Google, S4 LTE.
Shipped, sold?
The way they market their products, its just smoke and mirrors for the short term gain.

Grain of salt......

I'm sure they did and found that the responses were just not in keeping with the spirit of the survey.

Why didn't they ask who paid the study or if those who did the study benefited in any way from Samsung? I suspect a pay-off, not atypical of the Korean giant.

Time for 1/3 of American Samsung users to switch to iPhone.

Why didn't they ask how many samsung owners planned to switch to iPhone?
