Canopy to Intro iPhone 5 Backside Touch Panel Case in July

1. Canopy to Intro iPhone 5 Backside Touch Panel Case Accessory in July
Prior to the launch of the iPhone in 2007, Apple filed for a patent describing the use of backside touch panels for iDevices. Whether Apple is still working on this feature for future iDevices isn't known at this time. Backside touch capabilities would be a great option for scrolling webpages on an iPhone and using it as a means of controlling video game play without your fingers obscuring the face-side display of your iDevice. The good news is that a company by the name of Canopy will be introducing a new Sensus iPhone 5 case accessory this summer with similar backside controls. The company also states that a version for the iPad with the Retina display is under consideration. That sounds like fun and who knows; maybe we'll see this feature eventually make its way to future iDevices. Time will tell.
