Apple Trademarks Grand Central Dispatch
On December 11, 2009, the US Patent & Trademark Office published Apple's latest trademark application filing for Grand Central Dispatch under application 77887646. Apple has filed their trademark under International Class 009 covering software and operating system software specifically. Apple's Senior Vice President of Software Engineering, Bertrand Serlet, introduced Apple's newest OS X technology called Grand Central Dispatch during his presentation at WWDC 2009.
