Today the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office published Apple's latest registered trademark for their "Activity" App icon that was officially granted yesterday. Apple originally filed for their trademark on August 26, 2015. The Apple Watch Activity app provides Apple Watch users with a snapshot of their daily activity with active rings representing Stand, Move and Exercise. Apple filed their trademark under International Class 009 which covers the following: "computer software for tracking, storing, viewing, monitoring, displaying, transmitting and managing user interaction data concerning exercise, physical activity, steps taken, distance walked or run, time standing or sitting, calories consumed, calories burned; computer software for tracking, monitoring and managing information and goals regarding a heath and fitness program; computer software for mobile telephones and mobile digital electronic devices."
