On Friday Apple filed for the 'iCloud' trademark with European Patent and Trademark Office. Although Apple has several 2011 iCloud trademark filings on record (one, two and three) from the U.S., Europe and China, Apple has added new International Classes that they want protected under iCloud. The most notable new entry relates to all-things for vehicles under class #12. It cover such things as "apparatus for locomotion by land, air, water or rail; consoles being parts of vehicle interiors; dashboards; automotive interior trim and interior trim parts of automobiles; anti-theft devices for vehicles; anti-theft alarms for vehicles, vehicle wheel tires, steering gears and more. The other new class entries include #14 (for watches); #18 Leather goods; and oddly #34 for Tobacco/Lighters (knowing Apple it'll be for gold wrapped Cuban cigars – said laughingly). The full list of Apple's International Classes is provided in our report for your review.
