Apple's Trademark Application In-Part for "HealthKit"
According to US Patent and Trademark Office's documentation, the trademark was filed under the sole International Class 009 which covers "computer software used in developing other software applications; application development software." That's as generic a description as it could possibly be.
In Europe, however, Apple filed their trademark under International Class 009 but also under three additional International Classes which are far more insightful as to what Apple wants protection for, as noted in detail below:
International Class 10: Health, fitness, exercise, and wellness sensors, monitors and displays; medical apparatus and devices.
International Class 14: Horological and chronometric instruments; watches; clocks; timepieces; chronographs for use as timepieces; chronometers; watchstraps; watch bands; cases for watches, clocks, and horological and chronometric instruments; parts for watches, clocks, and horological and chronometric instruments; jewelry.
International Class 44: Health, fitness, exercise, and wellness monitoring and assessment services; providing information in the fields of health, fitness, exercise, and wellness; providing a website featuring information on health, fitness, exercise, and wellness.
Apple asserts a claim of priority based on Trinidad and Tobago application number 47870 filed on 02/04/2014. UPDATE Aug 6, 2014: Apple filed for the HealthKit trademark in China today under number 303089755.
