The Forbes report added that "This title has the potential to prove that a game built from the ground-up as a mobile title can prove itself a worthy addition to a storied franchise, then iOS could become more important for the gaming community than ever before."
With gaming controllers for iOS devices are on the way from third parties, it's clear that we're going to have to start thinking a little differently about what how we consider games.
While console gaming will continue to have the edge over devices like the iPad or iPhone, the quality of gaming for iOS is vastly improving at a rapid pace.
It should be noted that Apple interestingly added "computer gaming machines" to their upgraded "Mac" trademark back in June. Gaming seems to be very much on the minds of Apple's creative and legal teams.
