A new report from China Times today discussed how the insurance industry in China is finally joining the cloud era to keep up with the pace of smartphones and tablets. It's now easy now for a salesman to pick up an iPad and provide customers with up to date information that they want to review with their customers. One Company in particular called Cathay Life started with 15,000 iPads back in late 2011 and as of this month have advanced the iPad's penetration into the firm with up to 65,000 units. Other insurance agencies are now following suit and taking up the iPad at MassMutal Mercuries Life Partnership and China Life.
