China's Hong Kong IP Office has officially published a series of eleven newly registered design patents for Apple's retail store stands noted in our cover graphic. As you'll see, the official description of the retail-stands in the registered documents is pretty skimpy: "Stand as well as a combination of a stand and electronic device." No technical details were provided for public consumption.
Apple Wins Eleven Design Patents in China for Various Apple Store Retail Stands
Late last Friday, Hong Kong's IP Office officially posted eleven registered design wins for Apple. The designs are for a series of Apple Store display stands that sit on Apple Store tables. Below you'll see a photo of Apple's iPod Shuffle display stand design that's found in most Apple Stores today – along with one of Apple's submitted design graphics pertaining to their iPod nano product line.
